I wouldn't think to make something like this because I've also had limited experience with radicchio but I completely agree this would be a great way to get a taste for it - in a yummy lasagna. I might have to try it :) It looks great. I like radicchio, but I agree it is definitely an "in small doses" vegetable. I made some radicchio ravioli a while back from a Mario Batali recipe - was very delicious, but a serving of about 4 raviloi was enough. Not worried about meat, since we are unashamed meat eaters. This is a radicchio comment! Sorry, but we really couldn’t get on with the radichio this week! I’m looking primarily for a vegetable to eat as a vegetable, but will use up left-overs in soups or casserole. This was too bitter to be anything but a flavour to be countered in a more complicated dish, with greasier flavours.
